I just added a new feature on the website, showing which movies everybody has last seen. Unfortunately, I only got the OUTPUT version ready and am still working on a way to allow the others to input things manually 
Just keep an eye on the list and you’ll slowly see other color squares than just my blue ones

Just found this through Punkey is this little game! The aim of the game is to launch a penguin back to it’s spaceship and do so with the longest possible distance in the highest level!

*YAWNNNNN* Sorry! Just so darn sleepy! Been shopping for a couple of hours just now and feel all deadbeat by now! Just wanted to give a few updates on my life!
This morning I was supposed to pick up a letter from NTU and go down to Singapore Immigration to get my Social Visit Pass extended. However, when I got to the uni’s Human Resources department, they told me that I did not need to go down today, but instead should go on Monday, when my pass is then REALLY expiring! I thought it would be wise to get things settled a few days in advance, but they advised me not to. So be it, I will have to go down on Monday.
For lunch, I quickly joined my friend from the uni to Burger King and in the afternoon I went to watch Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams and it sure was as great as their first episode: Spy Kids. Since IMDb visitors thought the movie was EXACTLY the same quality (both getting 6.5 as a vote), I will give my exact same vote for the sequel as well: 6/10. Not good, not bad for time-killing
Now I should quickly iron some clothes and hit the hay! G’nite y’all!

A simple reason why I havent been blogging much lately? Lack of time And posting a message twice and the script fouling up But ah well, that’s ok.. I’ll rewrite my experiences quickly and post it, before it expires ;P

It’s been quite a while since I’ve last posted a message here and sadly enough it seems that nobody has taken over that function as for yet 
Ah well, then just let me write whats my week been like.
Some things were good, some things were more than bad. Let me start with the bads.. My friend Thony recently broke up with his girlfriend after being together for over a year I think. It is very sad to see them break up as I thought they were a nice couple. I am sure that they will find a happy life on their own and wish them all the strength to fight through this. My thoughts are with you!
Another thing is that my girlfriend’s grandmother was hospitalized earlier this week for surgery to her leg. In a way it is good news as she will be able to walk more properly again, but ofcourse nobody likes hospitals Neither do I!
Ok, some more? Yeah! I’ve been training all week as a preparation for my work and I can tell you, it was bloody hard! It was on the subject of High Performance Computing and to be more exact, about Code Tuning for HPC and working with MPI technology. Sounds interesting? Leave me a message by shoutbox and I will tell you more about it
What else? I have been offered a contract for a period of 2 years to work for Nanyang Technological University assigned by Sun Microsystems here in Singapore and I am very happy that I can soon start working! I might also be sent out to Hong Kong to give a training on Grid Technology and I am really looking forward to my first “business trip” Will keep you posted
Tonight I’ve watched two movies! One of them is called “Sleeping with the Dead” but it was a Chinese show and I don’t know the English title Will have to look that up The other one was Signs starring Mel Gibson. I thought it was a very interesting piece of work by director M. Night Shyamalan who also wrote the story and acted a minor role! I love that By the way, you might better know him as the director of The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. Nice job! Love the way he builds up the suspense!
Ok, now it’s 1:14AM and I should REALLLLLY get some sleep here! Hope I can post more often next week! Hope to see some small stories from the other bloggers as well soon! Goodnite all!
“Yeah, baby! Yeah!!”
Number 394 on my movie list is Austin Powers in Goldmember and I watched it today with my girl in the movie-theatre. Today was the official launchday of that movie so we decided to catch one of the first shows and I can tell ya that it’s “very shagadellic baby!” In general I love the silliness of Mike Myers’s movies, but this one blew it’s tops off. Co-starring of Steven Spielberg, Britney Spears, John Travolta and many more made this movie to a hilarious evening out 8/10 for me!
Ofcourse I also send my condolences to the family, friends, fans and collegues of Kyro Verstraeten. The link is in Dutch but that doesn’t matter if it’s up to me. He is now racing on the never-ending racetracks and I wish him to rest in peace as well. I have to admit I wasnt familiar with his qualities but if Durbin admires him, I know he was good. And it is always a sad thing to loose a real good Dutch quality.
Now I am going back to my little home and get some rest! Goodnite all and hope to blog you again tomorrow!
And another movie can be added to the list of movies I watched! That brings me to a grand-total of 392 voted movies on IMDb! I was planning to put my votes list online somewhere but its quite annoying the way they link their images. Will look into it once I get a permanent connection to the web again!
Oh yeah, the movie I watched was Minority Report starring Tom Cruise. I watched it together with my friend Raymond at Cathay Cinema here in Singapore. It’s the first movie I watched here in theatre so far, but it sure won’t be the last The movie itself was pretty ok, however there were two annoying girls sitting in the row behind us, yacking non-stop! After a few minutes I couldnt take it anymore and asked them to shut up in a decent way Something in the line of: “Hey! Cant you wait 10 minutes with yacking like that? Keep Quiet!!“. Well thank goodness it worked!
Gosh! I almost forgot that late last night, just before I went to sleep, I watched Tarzan & Jane on my laptop. It’s the sequel to Disney’s original Tarzan from 1999. I liked the sequel, tho it wasnt wonderful for sure! Especially the way they played around with the shadows was highly annoying! At times, the shadow of the leaves from the jungle totally covered the figures! Very weird! Hope they won’t continue doing that! Oh by the way, that’s movie number 393!
