This week, I have chosen to cover “Identity“, as Rehana mentioned in a comment to CwCheung’s post “Identity”, we were watching it a couple of days back and I thought the concept was rather interesting. Yes, the closing was more or less a disappointment, but this happens to many movies now-a-days.. And another edition of Movie Mad Thursday, where I will highlight a movie I’ve watched in the past week and what you need to know about this movie! Also reviewing their website and related online items you might not know of yet!
This week it’s Underworld, which I watched from the comfy Director’s Lounge of Eng Wah Cinemas in West Mall, Singapore! My girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves with the comfy seats for this movie and as always we were fashionably late with 15 minutes! Terrible aren’t we? Well, I’m not sure whether it contributed to my opinion about this show, but I’ve gotta say: I’ve seen better. It’s not worth the hype.

Something new I’ve been wanting to do for a while: Movie Madness Thursday. Today I will create a post about a movie that I’ve watched in the last week, giving my comments, my rating, and more information about the movie itself to give a good insight about whats going on in the world of movies!
This week its: Secondhand Lions, which I watched today. Secondhand Lions is the story of a boy who’s left with his uncles while his mother has run off again in search of a new boyfriend. Walter is that son and he’s majorly shy and hopefully these uncles are able to change something about that. But thats not the only hidden reason the mother has.. The uncles also have a huge load of money stashed away somewhere and the mother wants to get her hands on that loot! But how? Maybe if the son befriends the uncles, they might put him in their will and then when the uncles die, they’ve got the cash.. Well, watch the movie and you’ll find out whether they do!

Today we decided to go see “28 Days Later“, a quite interesting flick about a virus spreading across the world, changing everyone into raged zombies. I hadnt experienced much of the hype and was therefore quite “objective” about the movie. It’s an ok-type of movie which resembles a lot from already existing movies. Like, I thought it looked a lot like “Reign Of Fire“, where in the latter case, dragons conquered the world, killing everything left and those who survived are trying to fight the monsters and stay alive, looking for other survivors. Exactly what this was about as well Nevertheless, entertaining.
Oh, what else did I do? The day before yesterday, I watched “My Girl” and I only have one word for it: “Awwwwwwwwwwww…”, a very very sweet show and I LOVED it Yesterday, I watched “Sphere“, written by my favourite author: Michael Chrichton. Then today I also watched “The Mexican“, while ironing my clothes.
As some of you may know, the month of Ramadan is coming soon, followed by what they call here “Hari Raya Puasa“, which means the celebration after fasting. During this month, all your friends and relatives can come over and ofcourse, the house needs to be sparkling clean then. Well, the lady of this house has already started “spring cleaning” a couple of weeks back, so its my turn to get started! Otherwise, I will have to do it while fasting, and then things just become slightly more “tiring”. So, thats what keeps me occupied for the while: cleaning!
Now its about time to say: “It’s FRIKKIN late”, so I’d better get some rest now! Blog ya later!

Through a Singaporean magazine called “FiRST” (a rather nice movie magazine spread here in Singapore) I had won some tickets for the movie Wise Girls (2002) starring Mariah Carey (be careful, the music on her website can become rather ANNOYING!). “Unfortunately”, the movies was already removed from Shaw Theatres, which left me with choice from all the movies that did not have a “No Free Listing”.
My choice fell for Finding Nemo (2003), which I was sure to prefer over my initial option Let’s hope I win something again! This movie “Totally Rocks” as the turtles would say and the animation was truly amazing. Good humor, nice graphics and even in the theatre some extra’s like a Pixar oldie before the show and some little guest appearances during the credits. Go check it out! Oh, their website has some very cool wallpapers, games, screensavers for you to use and play with. Have fun! Will post some more on this kewl show I think!
I just finished watching the last bit of Schindler’s List. Definitely one of the best movies I ever watched and ofcourse I crowned it with 9.0/10. Sure is worth a high vote!
Besides that, my day been too busy and I’m too sleepy hehe So, will get a couple of things done and make it an early night! Coz, tomorrow I’m going to Amsterdam to meet my boss from Singapore, who’s coming over to Amsterdam for a few days! So, will leave you a message about my experiences again tomorrow night!

I just finished watching the first half of Schindler’s List. Yeah, I know.. It’s an old show and as a major movie-fan, I should’ve watched it longgggggg time ago right? Well, I did! I already watched it before, but I decided to watch it again. Each time I watch it, it makes a great impact on me.. Those filthy grrmblrmblrmrm… Sorry for that!
I found the tape among my pile of “crap” (see a post made a couple of days back) and I decided to sell it online at Marktplaats. After a while, I still didnt get any bids but then suddenly today, a lady emailed me that she’d love to buy the tape. When I checked IMDb I suddenly realised I never even voted for that movie! So, I decided to simply watch it again I never really got a chance to watch it properly, so this was my chance! Well, since the movie is a 190 minutes long show, I devided it over two days Gonna watch the second half tomorrow!
Now, I’m gonna get some rest after sending my loved one an email Goodnite peepz!
